A Good Day to be Black and Sexy is composed of six vignettes of urban pillow talk that explore the fabric of love and sexuality with comedic overtones and subtle, nuanced dramatics. The first take is Reciprocity; a tit-for-tat battle of the wills between a college student and her sleepover boyfriend. Putting in some serious work beneath the sheets, Tony comes up for air and a little “reciprocity.” Satisfied, Jeanette, turns over and goes to sleep, leaving Tony completely bewildered. Her Man, follows up, dropping in on a woman coming to terms with the fact that the man in her life belongs to someone else. Growing too comfortable in the relationship, things start to unravel for Helenaover D’Andre’s persistently ringing cellphone during their time together. And the audacity for him to actually answer it…
